National Key Account Manager – Civil Engineering

Salary: £84,000 per year

I am looking for a National Key Account Manager to work with a forward thinking, highly reputable Civil Engineering & Construction based company.

The purpose of the role is to nurture, develop and oversee the long-term relationships with several strategic and business critical clients, and maintain the businesses “most trusted supplier” status with them.

The ideal candidate must be able to evidence the following:

* A minimum of two years experience within the civil engineering, construction or temporary groundworks sector

* Effective management of business-critical clients, with five & six figure yearly spend

* Be able to identify and generate new business opportunities

* Be a “think outside the box” sales professional, to put the company and their products in front of key decision makers

* Must be able to create and formally present business-based information and presentations across various stake holder levels

* Be a professional, punctual sales professional, with great relationship building skills

* Deliver on long term contracts and supplier agreements

* Be able to enhance the company’s presence and reputation across the country

* Maintain relationships with various depots and managers across the business

* Must be operationally astute with a good business mindset

* Be able to provide reports and accurate sales targets to directors within the business

* Develop and assist within marketing campaigns across the companies platforms

This role will be nationally based, and will cover the whole of England, so I am looking for a candidate that is familiar with being in the field on a daily basis, and is willing to stay overnight on several occasions a month.
