Job Title: Night Operations Manager
Location & Post Code: Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear (NE11)
Salary: Circa £34,800 per Annum (Dependent on Skills and Experience), Car / Car allowance and Performance Related Bonus

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will have some experience in a similar role but maybe not specific to wholesale distribution. They will need to possess the following attributes:

* Manage a team of warehouse operatives and drivers.
* Recruit, train, develop and retain the operational team.
* Plan equipment and resourcing, rearrange rotas where appropriate to achieve correct staffing levels.
* Communicate with key colleagues and senior managers at all times.
* Thrive on autonomy within their role.
* Maximising warehouse layout for optimum efficiency.
* Deliver exceptional levels of Customer Service.
* Manage all quality standards to ensure all products are dispatched to a high standard.
* Adherence to Health and Safety legislation.

Key Skills and Experience:

* Experience of managing a warehouse picking and distribution team.
* Good understanding of distribution process.
* Excellent communicator.
* IT literate to use all internal computer systems
