Financial Analyst

Salary: £36,000 – £38,400 per year

Anderson Knight is currently engaged with a key client who is seeking to recruit a Financial Analyst on an initial contract basis.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will provide support to the Finance function and be responsible for the following key duties:

· Supporting management accounting activities

· Responsible for general account and period closing activities

· Maintaining P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations

· VAT returns

· Reporting & Analysis

· Supporting OPEX Projects

· Supporting Internal Controls & Audit processes

The ideal candidate will possess the following key attributes:

· Experience operating in a similar Finance role

· Working towards their professional qualification or qualified

by experience

· Sound knowledge of financial systems and general

accounting procedure

· Proficient in MS Office with advanced Excel knowledge

· Ability to work under pressure, and deliver to a high standard

within tight timescales

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
