An establish leader in subcontract multi axis CNC machining, based in West Berkshire, specialising in machining patterns, prototypes and composite inserts. Due to high levels of investment in technology, software and state-of-the-art machine tools, coupled with ongoing investment in the development of a highly skilled and engaged workforce, this has enabled the supply of high quality, complex machined components to a wide customer base from a variety of industry sectors including F1, Motorsport, Aerospace, Military, Medical and many others.

This subcontractor of highly precision machined component provides high-quality components of medium to high complexity, including highly complex 5-axis parts. With continued growth and re-investment into new machinery there are positions available for skilled CNC Programmers looking to grow within a successful and expanding business.

Job Profile

As the successful CNC Programmer you will be working in the Patterns and Composites machining department, alongside a highly skilled team of engineers producing components to tight tolerances for various leading F1 teams as well as other industries. Reporting to the Advanced Materials Manager, you will be expected to work on you own initiative and be able to problem solve. Continuous training and development will be made available to you and you will be given the opportunity to progress in your career.

Duties:
• Programming offline for a variety of CNC Milling machines (5 axis) using Siemens NX and Vericut in various materials, these include epoxy and polyurethane tooling boards as well as Rohacell and Carbon fibre

Skills and Experience:
• Siemens NX and working in a pattern and composite machining environment would be beneficial although this is not essential as applicants with knowledge of other CAM systems and machining environments will be considered

Hours:
• 42 hours per week
• 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday
• Lots of overtime available – Monday to Saturday time + half, Sunday is double time if you’ve worked a minimum of 5 hours on the Saturday
