CNC Programmer, Setter / Operator

Based in Sherburn in Elmett our client has a growing number of strategically located manufacturing sites throughout Europe and a Group turnover of €1.8 billion.
The Company is experiencing rapid growth in Western Europe and has started to penetrate Central and Eastern Europe.

They are looking for a CNC Operator with programming experience to join their team.

Hours: 2 Shift Pattern (days and afternoons)
Salary: 26k rising to 28.5k after qualifying period + Annual Bonus + Overtime

Role Description:

Our prestigious client require an experienced CNC operator to join and lead an existing team of multi-skilled operatives on a Weimann CNC machine producing SIPs panels for the UK housing market. As a market leader in SIPs manufacturing we are experiencing rapid growth in this area and you’ll be joining a tightly knit team who are dedicated to safety and customer service, and who wholly dedicated to lean manufacturing techniques.

Job Requirements:

• Experience operating CNC milling machinery.
• Experience & Competency in CNC programming.
• Must have some basic Microsoft office skills as there will be some basic reports to be filled in.
• Operator should be flexible / available for overtime when required and in their daily duties.
• Must have good interpersonal skills and be a team player.
• Candidates must be self-motivated and be able to work under their own initiative.
• Previous leadership experience would be an advantage.
