Accounts Payable Specialist

This global company has revenues of over £400 million and is a market leader within its niche industry. With over 20 year’s experience, our client is continuing to develop and expand year on year.

The main responsibilities of this varied and interesting 12 month fixed term contract Accounts Payable Specialist role include:

– Completing balance sheet reconciliations
– Coding and paying supplier invoices (sterling and multi-currency)
– Posting manual accounts receivable invoices
– Allocating intercompany cash and raising intercompany recharge invoices
– Journals, intercompany reconciliations and month end reporting
– Resolving issues with supplier invoices

This opportunity will be well suited to a person with experience in Purchase Ledger and has previously worked within a multi-national company environment. Additionally, experience of working with ERP systems and high volume invoicing is preferred. The successful candidate is required to have excellent IT skills and knowledge of journals, intercompany and VAT with relation to Accounts Payable invoices and expenses.
