Head of Billing and Metering

Barclay Meade Finance and Accountancy require an experienced Head of Billing and Metering on an Interim and Permanent basis.

Our client is going through significant change and requires someone with high level relevant billings, metering and customer service management experience – preferably from a consumer billing environment.

The responsibility of the role is to deliver billing in an accurate and timely manner to fully optimise the maximum revenue potential for the company.

Duties include:

To ensure the correct operational controls are in place, operated and audited to ensure bills are accurate and correspond to recorded data – including change transformation project management.

To ensure there is appropriate system architecture in place to optimise the billing process and ensure it runs efficiently.

To deliver sound work flow management, ensuring that there is a production plan and profile for all work entering the billing system which is appropriate for its volume, priority and value.

To ensure that bills are clear, timely and accurate in order to minimise disputes and queries and to work with Operations and across Customer Engagement to resolve disputes and queries promptly and minimise their reoccurrence.

To propose value creating solutions where opportunities to provide new or enhanced billing services arise.

To manage and maintain good relationships with internal and external contacts building effective collaborative partnerships with service providers.

To ensure service delivery performance by providers of processing transactional administration, printing and mailing is being achieved.

The ideal candidate will come from a large team management environment with high volume B2C billing, production planning, change management and metering experience.
