Metering Specialist Description:

We are seeking a Metering specialist to join our Industry Operations team in the Energy Sector. This role involves taking ownership and managing complex customer metering queries, ensuring accurate billing and compliance with industry regulations. The successful candidate will need excellent communication skills to liaise with both our customers and third-party agents.

Metering Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee metering installation and maintenance cases, ensuring a world-class service to our customers.
  • Maintain relationships with customers and third-party agents.
  • Work on exceptions and resolve complex industry data queries.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to relevant Industry legislation
  • Liaise with industry partners to ensure metering cases are resolved in line with customer expectations.
  • Help create and implement key industry processes and suggest improvements where processes are already in place.

Skills

  • Must have experience working within Metering in the energy sector and proven experience in energy, with a good understanding of the Gas and Electricity market.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to deal with a variety of complex issues.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including managing 3rd party relationships.
  • Strong communication skills with a focus on customer excellence.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently.
