Head of / Director of Ecommerce – Interim / Contract

My client, a luxury fashion brand based in Central London are looking for a successful Head of eCommerce / Director of eCommerce on a contract basis.

The role:

* Business planning and global eCommerce strategy development.
* Solid knowledge and experience working with web technologies, best-practice user experience design/layout, and site performance measurement.
* Proven ability to manage a Global eCommerce operation with multiple distribution centres and solid experience of building a successful and profitable international eCommerce business.
* Experience of managing all online marketing channels across devices – SEO, PPC, email, affiliates, retargeting, display etc.
* Extensive and proven eCommerce experience, preferably in a luxury fashion brand.
* Extensive knowledge of eCommerce technology, platforms and analytics packages.
* Outstanding analytical skills, strong experience interpreting insights & drawing conclusions to inform business decision making.
* Demonstrated strong business judgment and decision making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
* Strong organisational and management skills, including experience of working with international teams across time zones.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Acute understanding of luxury, branding and fashion.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, oral and written.
* Confident team player and leader.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment, being flexible in approach to meet the requirements of the business.
