Training Officer

Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year

Role: Training Officer

25hr week (3 Days)

The Training Officer is required to fulfil the educational requirements of new and existing staff. You will be responsible for administering needs assessments, gauge skills shortages, and then address these through tailored health and safety training programmes.

In the role of Training Officer, you will be responsible for:

* Carry out overhead crane lifting and slinging training

* Carry out manual handling training

* Cary out other health and safety critical training as require by the business

* Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Health & Safety Legislation

* Ensure knowledge of and compliance with all Company Policies, Procedures and Rules

* To assist in any areas of the company as required from time to time, ensuring the smooth running of the operation and to meet customer requirements

To be successful in the role of Training Officer, you should have:

* 5 years experience as a minimum working in heavy manufacturing environment is essential, sheet metal manufacturing experience is preferred

* Trainer qualifications

* 5 years experience as a minimum working with overhead cranes is essential

* Energetic, determined, and highly capable disposition

* Demonstrable experience as a Training Officer is preferred

* Strong desktop and in-person research, presentation and reporting skills

This role requires that one of the three days will include Monday.
