Kelburn Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading North East Company who are looking recruit a Production Manager to their Newcastle upon Tyne based Plant.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Production Manager to join an environmentally focussed company who export both nationally and worldwide.

The successful candidate must have previous supervisory experience working within the manufacturing industry.

This is a permanent opportunity but will have an initial 12 week probation period.

The Production Manager Role:

* Oversee planning and production schedules

* Manage a small team and ensure tight deadlines are met

* Oversee warehouse and production staff shifts

* Manage machine operations and maintenance

* Ensure full compliance with all H&S aspects

* Management of raw materials

* Liaise with various parties to ensure timely manufacture and dispatch

The Ideal Person:

* Will have a motivating attitude and previous supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment

* Have excellent attention to detail

* Good problem solving skills

* Financial and commercial awareness

* Self motivated

* Excellent Microsoft Package skills

* Health and Safety focussed with knowledge of updated legislation
