The Background
A UK leading food manufacturer who supply into all the UK major supermarkets as well as throughout areas in Europe are currently seeking experienced production shift supervisors with food manufacturing backgrounds.
The Role
– Achieve production levels as per the plan
– Report hourly quantity produced to Production Manager/Senior Production Supervisor
– Conduct “start up” meetings
– Liaise with Maintenance regarding breakdowns
– Re-allocate staff where required
– Assist NPD with trials and validation exercises
– Monitor staff performance
– Provide support and advise to team members
– Minimise/monitor change-over times
You
will come from a manufacturing background ideally within a food / fmcg environment with exposure to managing / supervising teams of circa 10 + colleagues.
