Salary: £26,000 – £30,000per year
My client, a leading pharmaceutical company based in Wrexham, is looking to recruit an R&D analytical chemist. An exciting position has arisen for an R&D analytical chemist to join this successful pharmaceutical laboratory operation in Wrexham. The position is for an Analytical Chemist to join the Research and Development department, working on new and existing products.
The successful candidate will carry out a range of duties including:
* the development and validation of analytical testing methods, including HPLC, to current regulatory standards
* performing ICH stability tests on products.
* providing analytical support to other functions on site
* transfer of analytical methods within the company or to third parties
The ideal applicant will have:
* a BSc or equivalent in Chemistry
* must have experience in HPLC method development and validation and method transfer
* the ability to write comprehensive technical reports
