Technical Sales Manager – North England & Scotland

Salary: £37,200 – £40,800 per year

I am working with a specialist machine manufacturer who are looking for a technical sales manager to join their well-established business.

The role will involve but will not be limited to:

• Covering the North of England & Scotland in terms of location
• Maintaining an established customer base, whilst developing new opportunities and accounts
• Conduct business development throughout your given territory, by promoting the full product range and equipment available to the customers.
• Managing the entire sales cycle
• Updating customer information on the system
• Liaising with internal members of staff regarding outstanding orders and any issues that may arise with production timescales.

We are looking for a candidate who can evidence the following experience within their careers:

• Minimum three years field-based sales experience
• Technical selling of products to high specifications upon a bespoke basis on occasion
• A door opener and sales closer
• A highly motivated individual who is keen to develop a long-lasting successful career within this industry
• Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience within a machine selling environment, however we would consider someone from the printing, sealing, packaging, manufacturing, engineering sectors too.
• Ideally someone that lives in the North or England or Scotland

In return my client is offering a basic starting salary of £37,200 – £40,800depending upon experience plus a generous commission scheme with an OTE of £60,000 – £70,000 per year.
