Management Accountant

Salary: £42,000 – £60,000 per year

LHH Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a growing manufacturing business in Nottingham that is recruiting a Management Accountant to join the team.

Within this role, you will be reporting to the Finance Director and working in a team of 4 in Finance.

Main Duties:

– Support the budgeting and forecasting process

– Prepare the monthly management accounts

– Provide project / job related cost information to the business management teams for margin analysis and customer / product pricing support.

– Nominal, Sales and Purchase Ledger input

– Assisting with external auditors with annual audits and statutory accounts preparation

– Balance Sheet reconciliations

This role comes with scope to progress into a Senior Management Accountant in the short term.

To be successful with this application you must have the following skills/qualifications:

– ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified (may consider part qualified but must be actively studying)

– Experience within a management accountant position with a solid understanding of costing

– Systems / IT skills – intermediate excel skills required. Must be experienced in using an integrated IT system for managing accounts related tasks

– Ambitious to shape the role and manage own workload

– Attention to detail
