Management Accountant

Salary: £264 – £300 per day

A Great opportunity to cover maternity leave at an international children’s book publisher with over 30 years experience and worldwide coverage. They have a low staff turnover and can boast some very well children’s books in their catalogue. They have a great reputation, and in the world of publishing have great coverage for children of all ages. 

Due to coverage for maternity leave they are looking for an interim part time Management Accountant, you will be:

• Working 3 days a week (ideally Monday and two other days) – 9am till 5pm
• Working from Mid October to Mid April – 6 month contract
• Based with from their central London office (W1H postcode) or remote or a combination of both – the first 2 weeks and last 2 weeks will be office based however for hand over
• Preparing and evaluating monthly accounts, dealing with P&L sheets, sales analysis, cash flow sheets, preparing annual budgets, preparing for annual tax audits, dealing with VAT returns and stock reconciliations

• Full hand over at the start and end of the contract with the UK Finance Manager going on maternity leave

Skills Needed:-

• Ideally 5 years experience doing a similar management accountancy role
• You need to be degree qualified accountant with ACCA, ACA, CIMA
• Experience needed with preparing and evaluating monthly account, dealing with P&L, sales analysis, annual budgets, annual tax audits and stock reconciliation
