Salary: £48,000 – £54,000 per year
A position has become available to work within the education sector for a Surrey based school. This position will be working closely with both the Head of Finance and Finance Manager.
Management Accountant – About The Role
Working within the Education sector you will be working within a really supportive and collaborative team. You will be responsible for producing the management accounts, forecasting & budget plans for a multi-site School with some private legal entity reporting too.
This position will oversee the budgeting and financial forecasting process in conjunction with the Finance Manager. This position requires someone that is wanting to perform a blended position as you will be required to support the team for the year-end and some statutory reporting requirements.
This environment will provide you with full autonomy within your role and are looking for an individual that is looking to enhance and develop a reporting process to aid robust decision making for the School. With this in mind it is absolutely essential that you have a sound / advanced knowledge of Excel to enable process mapping and scenario-based modelling.
The successful Management Accountant will have
* You will be able to produce a full set of management accounts
* Ideally you be qualified within ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent
* It would be desirable if you have previously worked within the education sector
