Finance Manager – Manufacturing

Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are pleased to be working with a well established Manufacturing business in Sheffield as they look to recruit a Finance Manager for their manufacturing side of the business.

You will be responsible for managing a small team of two whilst working alongside the operations team and production to analyse and improve costs/ processes. It is vital you understand manufacturing processes and worked in a similar environment.

This role is responsible for all aspects of finance across the business. This will be a varied role with duties to include the following:-

* Day to day management of FP&A team Consisting of two accountants and two assistant accountants
* Managing month end process in FP&A department to ensure results and analysis are prepared accurately to deadlines
* Ensure labour and material bookings are processed in an accurate and timely manner
* Ensure raw material stocks and stock provisions are accurately recorded
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Interact with managers of manufacturing units to develop a thorough understanding of processes to inform budgeting and management accounts
* Oversee the budgeting of the manufacturing areas by the FP&A team
* Oversee setting of departmental rates by operation
* Development of specific cost and revenue analysis for Governmental reporting

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

* ACA, ACCA, CIMA Qualified accountant
* Previous experience within manufacturing
*Resilience and tenacity
*Agility to adjust to rapidly changing priorities
*Demonstrable evidence of engaging internal and external stakeholders
*Strong and compelling communicator
*Competent excel user (Pivot tables and V look Ups)
