Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
Our client, a long standing commercially focused accountants’ firm and are now looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join the team.
The focus of the role of Accounts Manager is to be able to manage a portfolio of clients incorporating Sole traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Charities and experience in these areas is required to fulfil the role requirements.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for your own portfolio of clients
- Preparation of Accounts from start to finish with no or minimal supervision
- Business Tax preparation and submission
- Personal Tax preparation and submission
- VAT Returns preparation, submission, review from client records
Candidate Specification:
The successful candidate will have experience in commercial accountancy and be confident to liaise with clients, via telephone, email or in person.
Software knowledge is essential to the role in the following systems:
- IRIS
- SAGE (cloud and desktop)
- Xero
Experience in the following software systems would be desirable but are not essential:
- Quickbooks
- VT
- Other systems not listed above
