Victime Worker (Victime Support Officer)

Are you an experienced Victime worker with extensive experience supporting young people and families, if so we are recruiting for an experienced Victime Worker for with our client in Enfield to cover maternity leave, within our Victim section.

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful section that provides advice and support to victims of crime and parents, guardian or carers of child victims as well as working with young offenders to raise their awareness of the harm caused by their offending.

As a victim worker you will be responsible for contacting and liaising with victims of crime, working directly with victims and young offenders, working on Restorative Justice Interventions and maintaining detailed and accurate records and preparing written reports to assist with risk assessment in accordance with the Code of Practice for victims and as part of the YOS case management system.

High level interpersonal and organisational skills are essential together with the ability to work to policy and procedure.
