Vacancy: Assistant Manager/Head of Care

Hours: Permanent, FT – 37.5 hrs PW
Salary: £38,400+ dependant on experience

Client Information:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Head of Care to join their team. They work to provide care and support to people living with Physical Disabilities and their families, both in the community and at home. They aim to help enhance their independence and promote their rights as equal members of the community.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Registered General Nurse Qualification
• Some previous managerial experience is desirable but someone at senior level looking to progress their career would be considered
• A knowledge and understanding of statutory requirements in respect of the service i.e. CSCI, National Care Standards, Health and Safety
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written and ability to communicate at all levels
• Experience of recruiting, managing and developing people to work effectively within the organisation
• Care and compassion & a keen interest in making a difference

Responsibilities:

• To provide specialist nursing care and support
• Be a positive leader and be able to effectively support all the teams within the organisation
• Work to set the highest standards of care and compassion and support the Services Manager in the daily running of the facility.
