Salary: £30,000 – £38,400 per year
Nicholas Associates Engineering & Manufacturing are recruiting on behalf of a long standing client for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong practical knowledge of 3D modelling jigs and fixtures. My client is a leading manufacturer with multi-site operations throughout the UK with a global distribution network, this role being based in the companies Manufacturing Centre of Excellence in Barnsley.
Role: Manufacturing Engineer
Salary & Benefits: £30,000 – £38,400 + health cover scheme, pension, profit related bonus and life insurance.

Key Duties:
* Jigs & Fixtures concept design using AutoCAD & 3D modelling packages – Creo / Pro Engineer
* Assist with cost reduction, product reliability and quality improvement on new and existing products.
* Procurement of plant and equipment used in the manufacturing process.
* Identify potential new manufacturing processes.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Ideally apprentice trained with further education to HNC level or above.
* Conversant with AutoCAD & 3D modelling software (preferably Creo / Pro Engineer.)
* Knowledge of fabrication and welding processes.
