Salary: £240 – £300 per day
Assistant Surveyor
A main contractor is recruiting an Assistant Surveyor to work on a large project within the civil engineering division, working on the Southampton to London pipeline. Working in urban areas assisting the Senior Surveyor and using GPS for the pipeline.
Assistant Surveyor duties include:
- Using GPS
- Earthworks
- Maintaining quality assurance records
- Locating and providing setting out points
The company are an established tier one contractor working across the UK in areas of buildings, highways, rail as well as waste and energy.
The ideal candidate is likely to have a technical background with a degree or professional qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline. As well as having previous surveying knowledge on highways and or motorways.
Required to hold a valid CSCS card is expected as a minimum.
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
