Salary: £26,400 – £28,800 per year
A Freight Forwarding company in Essex are seeking an experienced Roadfreight Groupage Operator to handle Turkish & French Imports / Turkish Exports on a start to finish basis
Duties will include:
Taking bookings
Arranging collections and deliveries via trailer and domestic haulage
Liaising with customers, clients and overseas agents
Trailer planning
Liaising with the warehouse for loading / offloading of trailers
Arranging UK customs clearance
Charging out and invoicing
Problem solving
Providing a high level of customer service
Essential skills / experience required:
Minimum 3 years European Road Freight Groupage experience – preferably with knowledge of the Turkish & French markets
Understanding of UK Customs Clearance and documentation
Ability to work to deadlines
Good communication and customer service skills
Problem solving skills
Salary according to experience c £26,400 – £28,800
20 Days holiday
Office hours Mon – Fri, 8.15am to 5.15pm (some flexibility may be required)
