Flourish Education are an Education recruitment specialist that cover the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Worcestershire. We are currently working with an Academy in Birmingham who are recruiting for an RE teacher.

The school we are currently working with “requires improvement” but they had new management in last term and the improvements are noticeable already. They are looking for someone to join the school and be part of team, promoting good standards and encouraging the pupils to achieve.

Alongside the duties of a full teaching role for Religious Education you will also be given your own tutor group which will really integrate you into being part of the full school team.

This position will require you to take on a full planning and marking role while undertaking a full timetable.

To be considered for this position you will be:

– A Specialist Religious Education Teacher
– Able to demonstrate working at secondary levels KS3 and KS4.
– Able to demonstrate real value and talent in teaching this subject.
– Able to show a desire to get the best out of each pupil.
– Able to take initiative when working in a team or on your own

In return, we are offering a starting salary of up to £193.2per day, Continued Professional Development, and the opportunity of working with a family run agency.
