Our client has two main campuses at Ashington and Kirkley Hall and centres at Hexham and Berwick.
They offer hundreds of full-time and part-time courses, work with students aged 14-18, mature students, higher education students and employers from numerous industry sectors.
The Engineering Area consists of 12 full time lecturing staff, 4 support staff and a range of part time lecturers who form a customer focussed team offering a modern FE Curriculum. The main skill areas are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Welding & Fabrication, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Plumbing and Motor Vehicle.
Our client is now looking for a Resource Manager to create and develop the MOT and Service Centre at Ashington. This role is key in the development of centre resources to deliver an outstanding learning experience and to maximise commercial revenue.
You will enable a realistic working environment for all Motor Vehicle students and ensure quality of provision and Health and Safety is implemented successfully.
Successful applicants will have relevant industry experience, with a good range of skills and team leader experience related to the motor vehicle industry.
A qualified MOT tester, you will have knowledge of all licensing and legal requirements needed to run an MOT and Service Centre, as well as teaching experience, preferably within the FE environment.
