Investment Analyst – Graduate- £25k – £30k + Bonus + Pension – Location: Leeds

Must have 1 year relevant work experience or similar + a passion for the investment industry + maths A-level or similar and a maths/finance related degree or similar.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for detailed projects that come about by swapping and transferring client assets.

The Role – Investment Analyst – Graduate
• Transferring assets such as equities or bonds
• Executing investments in a project led way
• Woking closely with third parties and intermediaries
• Drafting and planning instructions
• Managing the projects from inception through to completion
• Learning all the different types of asset class
• Working closely with Investment consultants
• Pricing trades and execute at the right time
• Monitoring all transactions and projects to achieve efficiencies
• Learning how pension schemes, bonds and equities work
• Sharing information with investment analyst

The Person – Investment Analyst – Graduate

You will be working in the Investment Advisory department, and we are looking for someone with a minimum of a 2:1 at degree level, coupled with a maths A-level or similar, and at least 1 years’ experience within the financial services industry within a project led or administration based role. You must be effective with oral and written communication, have a high level of attention to detail, be a team player, highly organised, mathematically minded, passionate, Good IT skills, have the ability to liaise with third-party organisations and be results orientated.
