Nursery Cook

Salary: £26,000 – £35,100 per year

We are now recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a Private Nursery in Walthamstow. This is a permanent role working 25 hours a week. The Nursery also cares for about 50 children.

For this Nursery Chef role you will need experience of managing a kitchen, writing menus and preparing the shopping list. Previous experience as a Nursery Chef would be an advantage but is not essential. 

Nursery Cook Requirements:

• Be a team player
• Relevant qualification
• Menu Planning
• Preparing and cooking fresh food
• Good communication skills
• Friendly and enthusiastic
• Food and Hygiene Certificate 

Nursery Cook Duties

• Ensuring delivered meals are at the temperature 
• Sorting the lunched for they 4 rooms
• Overall Kitchen responsibility 
• Working closely with Kitchen assistant
