Nursery Nurse

Staff Match are recruiting for an experienced level 3 Nursery nurse to join a fabulous nursery in based in Angel, Islington. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established group. Candidates will need to have experience of working with babies and toddlers, excellent communication skills, work well as part of a team and have a good working knowledge of EYFS Statutory Framework.

Person Specification:
NNEB, Cache or NVQ level 3 Childcare qualification
Experience of working in a childcare setting and caring for babies and toddlers
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Desirable)
Paediatric First Aid (Desirable)

Responsibilities Include:
• Providing stimulating age appropriate activities for babies and toddlers both indoors and outdoors
• Working to EYFS, statutory framework and promoting equal opportunity
• Key worker responsibilities, completing children’s learning journals and nursery documentation
• Building positive relationships with parents and key interfacing groups
• Working to Safeguarding, Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
• Attending parent’s evenings and supporting open days
• Attending staff meetings and training as required
• Working 40 hours per week
