School Finance Officer

Salary: £26,620 – £29,389 per year

Dedicate Recruitment is seeking to appoint an experienced Finance Officer to join this ‘outstanding’ secondary school, part of a dynamic and growing multi-academy trust based in the West Midlands.

Reporting to the Business and Operations Manager, the Finance Officer will assist in the management of the trust’s accounting function, ensuring its efficient operation in accordance with current procedures and financial standards. The role will include preparation of proposed budgets and financial returns, management of the purchase ledger, processing BACS payments and administration of ParentPay.

The successful candidate will be AAT Qualified or equivalent, preferably with experience of working as part of a team in an academy setting. With working knowledge of PS Financials software, your excellent interpersonal skills, accuracy and attention to detail will be essential for this role.

The client will consider candidates available at short notice, on a temporary to permanent basis.

This is a full time, on site role. Hours of work: 8.30am – 4.30pm, Monday – Friday.
