Project Engineer

Jackson Hogg are currently working with a leading engineering business to recruit a experienced Project Engineer.

Main roles and responsibilities;

– To provide project management and general management support to a range of engineering projects
– Working in close contact with the project manager, to ensure the technical aspects of the project deliverables are being achieved as per the schedule
– Effective planning, control and management both internally and with the client, of projects from the quotation stage through to contract completion.
– Manage an effective relationship with production, and assist in technical queries and when needed

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

– Degree qualified in mechanical engineering or mechanical design
– Demonstrated proficiency in reading engineering drawings
– Experience in designing fabrication, machined and turned parts
– Experience with multi-discipline projects incl. Mechanical, Electrical etc.
