Salary: £48,000 – £66,000 per year
RDR is currently looking to recruit a Project Engineer on behalf of their client ENGIE Fabricom UK on a permanent staff basis to be based in Enfield.
ENGIE Fabricom UK Ltd operate from four locations in the UK: Grimsby, Immingham, Lowestoft, and Middlesbrough. All of their sites are linked through a dedicated communications network, which extends to our project sites across the UK.
They combine high level engineering skills with a wealth of construction expertise, capability and 48 years’ experience across all UK industry sectors including Oil, Gas, Power, Chemical, Energy from Waste and Renewables.
The Role
The Project Engineer will carry out project engineering services under the direction of the Project Manager or other Management to support the delivery of projects.
Accountabilities (but not limited to)
* Planning works to ensure maximum efficiency and protection of the commercial position.
* Assisting the project design development.
* Production and modification of technical drawings (such as P&ID’s, PFD’s. isometrics, schematics, line diagrams and general arrangements etc) using AutoCAD and standard templates.
* Collection of design information for project deliverables
* Site surveys and ‘as-built’ measurements
* Maximise productivity by clear direction and control of the design team and all resources.
* Assist with the management of safety and environmental implications of the project during engineering design.
* Ensure all project and design documentation is correctly produced and securely filed, being submitted to the client within contract timescales.
Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications
* Educated to a minimum of degree level in a relevant subject
* Build effective relationships at all levels
* Able to communicate skills, knowledge and experience and apply them professionally as a trusted expert
* Full clean driving licence
