Salary: £36,000 – £84,000 per year
This is a newly created opportunity for an experience Test Engineer to be a key member of a growing product team within one of the most remarkable success stories of the Global HCM Software Industry
They need a highly talented Software Test engineer to work on a ground-breaking cloud-based solution that helps companies increase their efficiencies across their business.
The key focus of this role is to:

Work closely with development and product teams
*
Identify and implement key metrics for measurement of testing strategies
*
Develop and validate test cases for a variety of devices
*
Conduct compatibility testing against multiple browsers and mobile devices
*
Create and manage time limits for tests, to ensure stakeholders are aware of accurate release schedules
*
Analyse data to find areas of risk, and track progress to ensure improvement over time
*
Bring a testing perspective to all planning sessions and ensure test effort is taken into consideration by teams across the company
*
Identify Test Cases and investigate edge cases which require analysis and testing
*
Work with engineers to ensure that Test Cases are automated at the appropriate level
The person in this role should:
*
Have strong knowledge of testing standards.
*
Have good interpretation skills to understand what the platform is trying to achieve
*
Proficient in test automation development with experience creating and maintaining test scripts
*
Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and relevant quality assurance concepts
*
Proficiency with SQL and an understanding of relational database systems
*
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
*
Experience writing automated tests using FitNesse
*
Experience in enterprise software development
