Salary: £30,000 – £33,600 per year
This opportunity is working for a high profile building consultancy based in Coventry.
They are looking to appoint an Air Test Engineer.
About the role:
You will be part of a specialist team assisting in the measurement of air tightness and thermal performance of buildings. You will undertake site-based testing and then desk-based calculations, or undertaking in-situ monitoring and evaluation of environment and component performance.
- Site based Testing
- Reviewing enquiries and preparing fee proposals for testing services
- Assisting with calibration and maintenance of equipment
- Taking an active role in scheduling test activities
In this role you will have an opportunity to not only carry out onsite testing but also develop your career in wider energy assessment methods. You will need to possess either an existing iATS/ATTMA level 1 or 2 air tightness testing qualification.
Experience of Part F ventilation testing would also be advantageous.
This position is also open to a Graduate with a construction related degree. We welcome applicants with an ambition to widen their skills and progress within the built environment sector. Further bespoke training will be delivered as required.
