SoCode Recruitment are working with an innovative technology company in Cambridge who provide software solutions to help their customers collect and manage data more effectively. They are seeking a Senior Test Engineer to join their agile, cross-functional team on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for (not limited to)
Ensuring satisfactory sign off releases
Manual testing
Automated testing and reporting for stories as part of a Continuous Integration Environment
Participating proactively in Requirement Analysis and Sprint Ceremonies internally and externally
The ideal candidate will have…
Working knowledge of object-oriented languages
Experience of working with GIS systems and tools
Troubleshooting and debugging skills
5+ years commercial experience of software testing
Experience of database technologies and scripting to create and validate data
Experience of subversion tooling (GIT)
