Graduate Trainee Accountant

Salary: £30,000 – £32,400 per year

The Accounts and Audit Trainee duties will be:
Accounts preparation:
Prepare analyses and make postings
Produce draft financial statements in statutory format

Complete disclosure checklists for companies preparing accounts under UK GAAP;
Prepare audit planning documentation
Carry out internal control, system and walk-through tests
Attend stock takes
Carry out basic audit tests as part of a team in relation to other statutory or non-statutory audits
Prepare annual returns for filing with Companies House
Complete company statutory books
Identify basic tax adjustments arising from accounts production and audit work
Prepare personal and corporation tax returns
