Business Analyst

This role is for one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 banks, based within Global Change Delivery sector.

The role of the Business Analyst is to lead and be accountable for the definition of the analysis approach for large transformational programmes. Working with business consultants and senior business representatives to shape change programmes and prepare for mobilising resources. As an experienced analyst the role will include functional management of other analysts, engaging senior business stakeholders from across global business lines and global functions and helping to develop the professionalism of the BA practice by championing industry practices and developing the team.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Define the most appropriate analysis approach to a problem/opportunity and lead a multi skilled team to achieve the required goal.
* Elicit, analyse, validate, document and prioritise business and / or system requirements.
* Develop and deploy standardised operational processes across the region. Perform root cause analysis of failure elements & recommend improvements.
* Perform financial analysis by understanding the link between changes in systems and business processes to costs and benefits.
* Define the solution design for non-technology projects and support IT with definition of the technology elements.
* Develop User Acceptance Test strategies and plans and support customer sign-off for the deliverable ensuring product is fit for purpose.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
* Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. change management
* Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Project Manager, Analyst, Business Consultant
* Availability to undertake the travel required for this role, i.e. Occasional travel required nationally to meet business stakeholders
* Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. financial services is desirable but not essential
* Role relevant qualifications, i.e.Six Sigma, ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis, Certified.
