Digital Business Analyst

*Digital Business Analyst – up to £480 per day – Leeds – 1 year contract*

An exciting opportunity has arisen for additional Digital Business Analysts to join our leading Public Sector client’s services team working in the supporting of change and client requirements as requested. As the Digital Business Analyst you will hold a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall, working on similar projects through your career and lend expertise to our clients vision and Digital Strategy moving forward.

Key responsibilities:
*Build relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders, ensuring full engagement and resolving conflict where required. Be experienced analysing a range of digital / web services and solutions, ideally where open source and cloud technologies have applied agile development methodologies.
*Have a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall Project Management delivery methodologies.
*Use your experience in business change, rationalisation and transformation while working closely with the nominated product manager to define a product approach to meet the specified user need.
* Define skill requirements and map internal, departmental and external (partners/specialist contractors) resource.
*Consider budgets / ensure delivery is cost-effective and best value.
*Analyse and map the risks of this product approach and propose mitigation solutions.
*Define how the predicted user and financial benefit can be realised, and how channel shift will be measured. Make recommendations for action against the analysis done.
* Liaising with business users to elicit requirements
* Documenting requirements
* Working with Technical Architect to help develop solutions based on requirements
* Developing and growing technical capability of self and team.
* Engaging and influencing at all levels to improve product adoption.
* Energising and champion the collaboration ‘brand’ at all levels

Key Skills and Experience
* Proven track record working in Business Analysis role
* Experience of working in a large organisation with diverse user personas
* Experience of working on IT projects and assisting develop users requirements into technical solutions * Experience of working in an Agile environment
* Business Analyst practitioner qualification
