Mobile Handyperson

We are recruiting for several Facilities Assistants / Premises Officers to work on a mobile basis across the Wirral region on a prestigious FM contract.
The role will cover several areas from cleaning supervision, handyperson duties and basic site upkeep and maintenance. We will accept candidates from a variety of work backgrounds including; Facilities Managers (soft services), cleaning supervisors, caretakers, maintenance assistants, fabric trades and handyperson roles.

On Offer:
The position is a Permanent job.
The salary is circa £26,000standard weekly working hours plus possible shift and overtime patterns.
Vehicle provided and travel paid. 37.5 hour week.

Description:
The position is providing caretaking, maintenance and upkeep duties to several commercial and government facilities across the Wirral area.
The role will require the supervision of domestic staff and assistance with handyperson tasks.
– complete PPM and maintenance schedules
– site visits and periodic checks
– general fabric upkeep
– lamping and emergency lighting checks
– key holder duties – and locking up
– supervision of cleaning teams
– assistance in deep cleans
– caretaking duties and porterage
– H&S monitor and checks
– manual tasks and site clear and clearance
– general grounds upkeep where required
– Soft Facilities Management

Requirements:
The position is mobile therefore a valid driving license is required
– To have a facilities / caretaking or handyperson background
– experience of staff supervision
– ideally to have good maintenance experience and general fabric tasks
– presentable and articulate, client facing
– Conform to H&S requirements
– Willing to complete a level 3 police check (at no cost to candidate)
– Willing to complete manual tasks
