IT Quality Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced ICT Quality Manager / Management Systems Assessor – ICT £35,000 – £44,000, Car, Pension, Healthcare.

Job Responsibilities
To satisfy immediate demand, our client is looking to recruit a high calibre information and communication technology professional to lead and conduct multi-disciplined assessments delivering ISO and associated sector scheme certification to complex organisations involving multi-site, international or unusual technical difficulty against the following management system standards:
– ISO 9001 and TickIT for software development
– ISO 27001 for information security
– ISO 20000-1 for IT service management
Specifically this includes:
– Undertake client management activities for assigned customers.
– Lead or participate in preliminary assessments, assessments, follow-up visits, surveillances and certificate renewals to contract and budget requirements.
– Comply with company procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation and industry standards.
– Produce verbal and written assessment reports on time and to the agreed format.
– Discuss and justify the findings of the report and agree the outcome with clients.
– Undertake necessary documentation, data, administration and communication activities needed to successfully fulfil responsibilities.
– Pursue CPD and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
– Coach other employees when qualified and experienced.
– Identify new and additional business opportunities; advise clients on company services and action any resulting leads.
– Lead or participate in special projects.
Job Requirements
The position is home based, but will involve travel and periods away from home.
You will need to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the role of management systems in the ICT sector. You will be a registered TickIT auditor, or meet the requirements for TickIT auditor registration, supported by experience and in-depth knowledge of information security and IT service management
You will need to be degree qualified in an ICT related subject with a minimum of four years practical experience in ICT and be familiar with IT service management and software development life-cycles. You will have a broad knowledge and understanding of software development, computer applications and network management, along with experience of carrying out assessments of ICT management systems against ISO 9001:2000 and TickIT; experience of CMMI, ITIL, ISO 27001 and ISO 20000.
Any experience in the telecommunications and electronics industries would be a distinct advantage.
You will possess excellent written and verbal skills, be pragmatic and credible and have a high standard of personal presentation and integrity.
Membership of a professional qualification of British Computer Society or CQI
You will reside along the M3 corridor or surrounding areas (close to major road networks).
