Projects Manager Civils
Location: London UK
Salary: £72,000 – £78,000 per annum + Car Allowance + Package

We are seeking a new projects manager on behalf of a reputable tier 1 contractor that are winning substantial projects within civil engineering sector.

Relevant Experience:
*Worked on pavements/runways/resurfacing
*5 years of References – Have been settled in one company for 3-5 years
*Worked in airports with good experience – if no airport experience then good solid Heavy Civils!
*Airside pass needed, high security

Responsibilities May Include:
*Planning and defining scope of works
*Time estimating and forecasting
*Developing a budget
*Produce a progress report weekly/monthly
*Weekly meetings with client
*organising the various professional people working on a project
*carrying out risk assessment and methods statements
*making sure all aim are met and completed
*monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
*overseeing the accounting, costing and billing

*Must be client facing
*Be a confident communicator and have a proactive approach to their work
*Ability to work in a team environment
*Good management skills, with the ability to drive yourself and colleagues to achieve high standards
*Ability to ensure standards and targets are met
*Good operational planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
*Ability to work with colleagues to deliver project and operational performance
*Sound knowledge of construction practices and standards
*Specialist knowledge in chosen field
