The requirement is for Senior Project Manager with experience in the development of large infrastructure schemes including harbours, earthworks, roads, drainage and buildings.

Reporting to the Design Manager, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of marine engineering works and will manage the work of external consultants and lead all associated consultations with the regulatory authorities and all other interested parties.

Applicants should have a minimum of ten years experience of a similar role in the construction industry and be highly computer literate. They should be able to demonstrate a sound technical understanding of civil engineering and have a good working knowledge of contract documentation.

Responsibilities will include project reporting to senior management, production and review of reports, preparation of tender documents for both professional services and construction works, contract administration and liaison with outside parties. The successful candidate will take up a permanent position at our headquarters on Teesside.

The candidate should have an engineering or related degree and have appropriate professional qualifications.
