Production Team Leader

Our client is looking to recruit Production Team Leaders to work within a busy production environment.

As Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing the shift, your duties will includes:
The running of automated production lines
Allocation of labour, materials and stock against client orders
Management of Health and Safety for your team
Ensure your team are trained on SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures) and Health and Safety procedures.
Ensure team delivery of customer KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)
Involvement with a range of “Good House Keeping” and GMP (Good Manufacturing Standards) including 5s requirements and audits and participation with continuous improvement projects
Run daily team focus meetings
Monitor and ensure daily targets are achieved

Candidates applying for the role will need to have proven experience of working as a Production Team Leader. You will be already experienced at managing production teams within a busy fast moving production environment. You must be able to communicate both written and verbally at all levels along with having the confidence to manage diverse teams. KPI’s and targets are an essential part of this role as is continuous improvement so you must be able to demonstrate work carried out in this area.

Shift pattern for this position will be a rotating twelve hour shift pattern 2 days / 2 nights 4 off, remuneration for the position including shift allowances and production bonuses will be circa £28,118per annum
