Project Manager Finance Change, Accountant – Investment Bank

A Global Financial Services firm currently seeks an individual with Finance Change experience ideally with an accounting background. The role is a combination of Project Management and Business Analysis work, principally to support a new Securities Lending.

The role will cover numerous aspects to support Finance through the remainder of the project, including;
– Preparation and performance of Accounting& Product Control UAT (testing, investigations, results packaging),
– Regular status updates on the Accounting / Product Control progress on UAT and the project overall
– Gathering of change requirements and assisting technology with any Business Requirements documentation
– Being Finance point of contact on project calls, liaising with Ops, technology, PMO group etc on status and resolution of issues
There will also be regular processes for internal project reporting, dashboard production, project log maintenance and similar tasks.
There is a requirement for someone to be familiar with Finance F2B accounting processes (ledger feeds), prior experience performing UAT testing and a strong basis in general accounting knowledge (would be ideal if ACA / CIMA).
Must be confident and a good communication skills to be the ‘face’ of Finance at many project meetings with external stakeholders

Ideal Background / Experience:

Prior experience in Finance Change role preferable
Accounting experience
Knowledge of Equities, Security Lending / Repos preferable
+ other Capital Markets products useful
Good knowledge / understanding of accounting F2B process flow
Significant Financial institution, in Finance Change
CIMA, ACA useful
