Site Manager (Substation)

Salary: £240 – £276 per day

BCS Connect is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager for a Substation project based in the Brighton region.

This is a substation environment, so it is essential that the correct candidate holds relevant experience for this role. This role will be an M&E based project so the ideal candidate will hold a TP137 qualification and TP144 authorisation.

Duties:

* Delivery of specific tasks on your project(s) and outperform on key success measures.

* Have an awareness of the specific commercial and business risks to achieve targets.

* Have an awareness of the relevant commercial terms and conditions for your tasks/project(s) and deliver accordingly.

* Support the Project Manager /Project Engineer to proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectation.

* Support the Project Manager /Project Engineer to develop and support the project team to be successful by talking positively, listening actively, and encouraging constantly.

Experience & Qualifications:

* Relevant substation qualification such as BESC.

* TP137/TP144 Qualification

* SMSTS or CSCS equivalent

* M&E experience as a Site Manager within substation environments.

* Experience with producing and reviewing risk assessments/method statements

* National Grid interaction experience.

* A qualification in IOSH, CDM or equivalent is desirable.
