Senior Beauty Therapist

Salary: £26,400 per year

Our client is searching for a Beauty Clinic Manager. This is an exciting opportunity as you will head up a sparkling new Clinic. You will be responsible for managing the clinic team, plus offering different types of facial treatments, laser hair removal, and various other beauty treatments to our clients. You will be asked to play a senior team role in building a team around you, marketing the clinic, and even playing a role within the global brand with filming, new product development, social media, celebrity treatments, and press.
Your duties include examining the skin of the customer and suggesting the best face and or body treatments to them. You will be responsible for recommending and suggesting the best advice regarding using short-term and long-lasting hair removal techniques such as laser hair removal and waxing. You will also be very well bonused on product sales.
To be eligible for this role, you must have experience with beauty treatments, good understanding of skin and body types, and extensive knowledge of the latest beauty products, be a good salesperson and be open-minded as to growth potential. Our client’s goal is to exceed client expectations and boost our clinic’s reputation by providing professional beauty services.
Responsibilities
* Using our Cynosure laser machine to carry our laser hair removal
* manage the team, address local marketing, recruit a junior team and train them to your high standards.
* Be part of the marketing team by supporting content creation, before and after photography etc.
* Provide relaxing manicures, pedicures, face and body treatments.
* Provide various kinds of facial treatments from in-house treatments to skin peels.
* Examine the skin and suggest the treatments accordingly
* Remove facial hair by waxing, or threading process
* Manage day to day appointments of the clients
* Update client archives in a professional manner.
* Provide guidance on skin and supplement products as per the client’s requirement
* Make sure all spaces of the clinic are hygienic and clean
* Ensure that the equipment is sanitised before use
Requirements
* NVQ level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy
* Laser hair removal
* High school diploma candidates with relevant certifications will also be considered
* 2-5 years of experience as a Beauty Therapist or a skin and laser therapist in any reputed beauty salon or clinic
* Strong knowledge of using laser technology for hair removal
* Practical understanding of massages, hair removal procedures and face treatments
* Updated about the latest makeup products and trends
* Exceptional client service skills
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak in multiple languages
* Good organisational skills
* Basic computer knowledge of using printers, using MS Office Tools, salon booking systems, etc.
