Due to several recent project wins that have arisen we are looking for a Principal Electrical Design Engineer to join a very well established and very successful international Multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy who are mission critical specialists and are offering a start on a work from basis until lockdown is lifted..

* Impressive project portfolio working with leading blue-chip clients throughout the UK, Europe and SE Asia.
* Project portfolio has included some of the largest hyperscale data centres ever built and projects at the forefront of green design.
* Other sectors include rail, hotels, and commercial developments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* The Principal Electrical Design Engineer will be a lead member of the design team managing electrical services design RIBA stages 2-4 on hyperscale facilities
* Assisting with design development on high value mission critical data centre projects.
* Helping with training and mentoring the Junior Engineers in the team.
* Representing the client at Design Team and Client Meetings.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND
* Qualified to MEng or BEng Degree level or equivalent in either electrical engineering or building services engineering.
* Relevant experience as a Principal level Electrical Design Engineer within a consultancy is essential.
* The Principal Electrical Engineer will ideally hold Chartered status through CIBSE or the IET however not essential.
* The Principal Electrical Engineer will ideally have experience of working on hyperscale data centre projects although major aviation, healthcare or pharmaceutical project experience would also be considered.
* Experience within a client facing role is essential for the successful Principal Electrical Design Engineer.
