Pharmaceutical Inventory Management / Controller – Hertfordshire
Opportunity:
This is a brand new position that has been created due to expansion of the company.
If you are currently working within the pharmaceutical Logistics and Warehousing areas with strong inventory management experience then this is the role for you.
Your role as Inventory Management / Controller based in Hertfordshire will involve receiving, storing, internal/external transportation of batch related, miscellaneous, and other materials for inventory tracking and reordering process and maintain a GMP pharmaceutical compliant warehouse.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Interact with plant management on operating issues relative to transportation, warehouse, and inventory control that impact plant operations.
Commit to employee feedback and developmental processes.
Maintain department schedules which support production without delays.
Plan and coordinate efficient transfer of materials and finished products to and from production and warehouse areas.
Responsible for maintaining proper inventory control procedures and documentation for all raw materials and production supplies and finished product produced, stored, and shipped from the plant.
Coordinate accuracy of records of materials in inventory and on order.
Compile records of amount, type and value of material or stock on hand.
Coordinate and manage reorder points, and initiate action to replenish stock.
Reconcile discrepancies in inventories.

Skills:
To apply for the role of Inventory Management / Controller you will have the following:
Ideally a degree in Operations/ Logistics or similar.
Strong experience in Medical Devices/ Pharmaceuticals / Supply Chain/ Logistics within a highly regulated environment.
Computer skills and systems knowledge (JDE or other ERP systems, and Excel).
