Position: Management Information Manager

Industry: Outsourced Facilities Management

Location: Home based with some travel required

Salary: Up to £54,000plus benefits

We are working with a global Facilities provider to recruit a Management Information Manager to work within their Quality and Assurance Team on a national Facilities management contract in the Telecomms sector

Person Requirements
– Evidenced qualifications for advanced Excel skills
– Advanced Microsoft skills in particular for Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint
– Experience of bespoke/generic compliance management systems
– Experience of providing data as evidence of compliance and improvement to the following standards ISO 9001, 14001, 22301, 27001, 31001, 11000, OHSAS 18001
– Experience of managing complex data sets relating to property utilities

Key Duties:

– Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of accurate reporting solutions for the Assurance Team, to include the initial solution design, subsequent development, rigorous testing and then deployment
– Interrogation and creation of extremely complex datasets in order to develop management information and key regulatory control reporting as required by the Client
– Pinpoint trends, correlations and patterns in complicated data sets
– Clean and prune data to discard irrelevant information
– Assist in the development and deployment a strong control framework such that all management information produced is delivered in a “right first time” context
– Support the development of automated systems and processes (e.g. dashboards) to enable more efficient production and consumption of the reporting outputs
– Work effectively with a minimal amount of supervision, managing time effectively
– Liaise with the Quality and Assurance Manager and other Senior Leadership Team members to understand their reporting requirements. Translate these requirements into practical solutions through the design, development and testing of appropriate systems using the data available
– Act as a Subject Matter Expert for all data queries and report enhancement requests, in relation to the Assurance Team and account requirements
– Identify and implement efficiencies within the reporting environment, covering both reporting and operational activities across the various complex data sources and systems involved
– Ensure that control points are put in place (and observed) during the development process of reports/ data feeds. Ensure any issues identified are flagged to the relevant management along with recommendations for potential solutions
– Provide technical support to peers across the multitude of systems used
– Manage Assurance Team systems and provide training to account staff where necessary to ensure the systems are utilised by end users effectively
– Manage relationships with system owners to ensure systems (used by the Assurance Team and Account when requested) are fit for purpose
– Identify new opportunities for process improvement
– Develop and maintain process documentation
– Develop and maintain processes/systems to monitor progress towards business objectives
– Present business information to all levels of staff
