Head of Development

Salary: £84,000 – £90,000 per year

We have a brand new role with a very impressive digital transformation consultancy who are looking for a Head of Software Development.

In this role you will be managing a team of about 20 front end and back end developers working on major projects for a wide variety of clients across the UK. Projects are often in the £multimillion bracket.

* To be considered you must be a.NET expert with extensive experience.

* You should have in-depth knowledge of Azure and AWS

* You should have worked with DXPs

* Any experience with low-code projects would be useful but is not essential

* You will have strong input into technical strategy and you will ensure that the best technologies and tools are selected

* You will be the escalation point for any technical issues that come up

* As well as being strong technically you should also be a talented people manager who is able to get the most out of your team.

* You are a keen mentor for the developers in your team

* You have a keen interest in process and are able to implement software best practice within your team

* You are used to collaborating with 3rd party suppliers

* You are able to lead on technical projects when required

The company are flexible on location but you will sometimes need to attend the office in Leeds for meetings, workshops, etc so it’s probably best that you live within a couple of hours of the office.
